“Very polite and professional! I know nothing about AC and when our tenants called to say it wasn’t working right, I was a bit apprehensive about calling a place I wasn’t familiar with. I had a very pleasant experience as they came out, got it checked out, and fixed it in no time! The price was totally reasonable…if the heating or AC ever give our tenants trouble again, I will be sure to give them a call!” -Velina T., Redwood City, CA

Once you make an appointment, the owner of Premium (Bob) will meet with you to evaluate the proper system for your home. Bob has received training at one of the best HVAC schools in the country and has been in the industry for 21 years. Our customers love the fact that Bob is not trying to sell them something they don’t need.
When should you replace your air conditioning system?
- If it is more than 10-15 years old, a new higher efficiency system could reduce your bills.
- If your air conditioner has never seemed to keep up on the hotter days, it might be undersized or poorly designed for your home.
- If there is a big temperature difference between upstairs and downstairs, a newer system will be more effective and efficient.
- If you have to repair your air conditioner every year, it might be time to replace it.
Premium has trained professionals that repair, replace, and install any type of air conditioning and heating system. We also provide service on all makes and models. We will help you identify which air conditioning and heating system will run most efficiently for your home, and have the highest Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER) and Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER). Lastly, we can help you identify which systems qualify for a utility rebate and help you complete the necessary paperwork.
The types of systems include:
Central Cooling System: A central cooling system means that you have an air handler in one central location in your home and ductwork is used to distribute air evenly to all rooms in the home.
Split System: In this central cooling system, there is an outdoor unit that contains a condenser coil and compressor. Within the home, there is an indoor evaporator coil that is combined with your furnace or air handler.
Packaged System: Some central cooling systems are part of a packaged air conditioning unit. In this case, the condenser coil, compressor, and air handler or furnace are all contained within one case. Packaged units are usually located on the side of a house or on the roof.
Summer temperatures in the Sacramento area can be scorching. On average, Sacramento has 22 days over 100 degrees. When it gets that hot, your air conditioning system is put to the test and your house will heat up quickly. Even if temperatures don’t reach that excessive 100-degree mark, the constant demand of the summer can put a strain on your air conditioner. Over time, motors, switches and belts wear out and refrigerant can run low.
In order to ensure that your air conditioner and heating system is ready for the changes in weather and that it will continue working at its most efficient level, Premium provides a 24 Point Tune-up on your system and Energy Savings Maintenance Programs. We will check and tune-up your system twice a year and recommend any needed changes.
Benefits of the maintenance programs include:
- Priority Customer
- Service Call Discount
- Reduce Cooling and Heating Costs
